Search Underway for Missing Dublin Teenagers Katie Russell and Molly Deans
A search is underway for two teenage girls, Katie Russell Mullen, 15, and Molly Deans, 14, who have been reported missing from Dublin.
According to Katie’s mother, Joanne Russell, the girls were last seen together at around 6 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, in the Sandyford area of Dublin.
Joanne has appealed to the public for help, saying the family is extremely worried about both teenagers and wants to know that they are safe.
Possible Runaway Scenario
There is speculation that Katie and Molly may have left together intentionally following a possible premeditated plan between the two girls.
However, this has not been confirmed by Gardaí. Gardaí continue to seek information about their whereabouts and have expressed concern for their welfare.
The girls have both been reported missing to An Garda Síochána, which is appealing to the public for assistance.

Gardaí said the two girls were last seen together in the Beacon area of Sandyford, Dublin 18, on Friday evening.
